Organisations are being encouraged to set up and run their own leadership events as part of the upcoming annual nationwide Leadership Week from 22 to 29 June.
Cornerstone events include the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Awards on 22 June and national Red Socks Day on 29 June, when New Zealanders are encouraged to ‘wear the socks of a leader’ in memory of a great Kiwi leader and his legacy of leadership in action.
Each year, Leadership Week highlights the strategic relevance and value that great leadership provides for New Zealand. This year’s events celebrate the power that individuals, schools, businesses and organisations can harness when they “dare to dream”.
